In this Department Resolution No.
MS-II-IM (SR.)-12/08-11863/H dated 15.05.2008. Government have been pleased
to allow the entry level of Assistant Surgeons of Orissa Medical Service
Cadre to Class-I (Junior) rank carrying the scale of pay of
Rs.8000-275-13,500/-.
(i) Accordingly, the pay of the Medical
Officers drawing pay in the existing scale of Rs.
6,500-200-10,500/- will be fixed as per provision of sub rule (b) of rule
-74 of the Orissa Service Code in the scale of pay of Rs.8000-275-13,500/-
(ii) The pay of those Medical Officers
drawing pay in the Time Bound Advancement Scale shall be fixed as per rule
-8 (3) (iii) of Orissa Revised Scale of Pay Rules-1998
This has been concurred in by the
F.A.-Cum-Additional Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department.
